All Figured Out

I've finally got enough to understand the show: Much like the Grey's/Private Practice Cross Overs, the writers are attempting a similar strategy - the title LA X implies this. Hear me out:

Greg Grunberg, who plays the Oceanic 815 captain (aka Matt Parkman), used his mind control abilities to make all the passengers believe they crashed on the island. In doing so, he is protecting them from the Man in Black (aka Sylar) who wants to steal their powers (ex: Hurley's Talking to Ghosts, Kate's ability to refrain from commitment). By setting off Jughead, they created an "incident" which freed part of their consciousness. Now the quest will be for Sawyer to find a pair of horn-rimmed glasses (HRG) to read "Turn of the Screw" and discover the means to save the cheerleader to save the world. Clearly, that job will be for Desmond - he's special, darn it!

Sorry, I should have declared a spoiler alert at the beginning of this. Let the theorizing begin!

oh, and performing this "Cross Over," is the only way to save the show Heroes from third consecutive season of disappointment...
