Moving the Island

Okay, so let me get this straight - the only way to protect the island is to move the island...

Don't ask me to explain the physics of it all, but moving the island will be in the "time" sense. Time has become such a centralized theme this season, it would make sense for the island to jump time to escape its captors. How's this going to happen? My guess is that Locke will construct a very large trevechet.

The big question now is how does Christian Sheppard and Claire play into all this? Seriously, Claire is getting a bit spooky...its about time they bring her into some critical storyline elements!

Good call with the time travel. I didn't think of that. It makes sense and seems much more logical than actually physically moving the island. Did I just say logical...well at least in step with this great 4th season of Lost.

Claire sure was strange in that episode! She seemed so happy, considering she was sitting in the dark in a creepy cabin with a dead guy miles away from her son. I am very interested to figure out what is going on with that. Will we find out this season?

My guess is absolutely not. Claire is going to be playing a big role now...which as we all know, will take at least a season or two to divulge all the goods.

I see this last episode leading us to see all the bad freighties killed, in process - a friend or two may die as well. The rest of this season will get everyone where they need to be for the rescue. I worry about Michael now though - given he is not an "Oceanic Six" could this be his end once everyone is rescued? Or will he go back into hiding with Walt unbeknownst to the world, but knownst to us?

PS. Trying to exact a timeline (and yes, "exact" is a relative term). In the previews for next week Kate has Aaron and he's still tiny. But in her and Jack's flash fowards, he looks at least 2, maybe older. Could that much time really have lapsed over these flashes? If it does, that further gives evidence to my Ben-coffin theory. He'd of been off the island for quite some time and accomplished all he needed to with Sayid.
